Who We Are

Eric C. Emms, FGA DGA Ltd is a Hatton Garden, London based company offering relevant, useful, impartial gemmological knowledge to the trade and the public.  The company is led by Eric Emms, well known in the gem industry.

What We Do

We offer short courses, seminars, gemmological services and other client focused interactions which increase client gem knowledge at an affordable fee level.

Our most popular service, our series of short practical diamond and coloured stones courses, typically increases client gem knowledge to a level where they are confident in buying and selling diamonds and other precious stones.

Our diamond and coloured stone courses are hosted by leading UK gem and jewellery educational organisations, including the Holts Academy of Jewellery, the National Association of Goldsmiths and the National Association of Pawnbrokers.

We also offer bespoke courses to UK retailers, designer/makers and pawnbrokers.

Why We Are Different

The public and gem and jewellery industry members are demanding more information and advice on diamonds, coloured stones and natural pearls. We supply that information through short, value for money courses, seminars and gemmological services. We are well known in our industry, well trusted and well positioned to deliver our services.
