Gem Inclusion Master Class.

New for 2010!

Following requests from attendees of coloured stones courses we have presented, we are delighted to offer a new one-day Master Class, held in Hatton Garden on Sundays.

Topics to be covered on the day:

Practical demonstration using 10x lens, gemmological microscope and video camera of the inclusions seen in examples of:  

• Diamond and its simulants
• Ruby
• Sapphire
• Emerald
• Garnet
• Topaz
• Tourmaline

Examination of inclusions of attendees own gem-set jewellery.

Our Master Classes are limited to four in order to give maximum benefit to attendees. Attendees will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance at the completion of the course.

• Learn how the origin of some gems can be established through studing inclusions

What is required from you:

A small amount of gem experience and knowledge. Those you have attended a short course on coloured stones presented by Eric Emms and others who have an interest in the internal world of gemstones will benefit from the course

Fee: The 2010 fee for our Gem Inclusion Master Class is £180 (includes VAT).
