Gem Quality and Values Workshop. We have teamed up with Tracey Jukes of e-jewel, a UK loose coloured stone dealer, to offer the first workshop to provide current gem values. For the first part of the workshop Eric will lead you through gem topics such as what is a natural gem? What is Man-made? What is a treatment? Tracey will then look at current gem prices and how supply, treatments and Man-made stones affect values. Please note this is NOT a gem testing course. This workshop
has proved to be popular and places are limited in order to give maximum benefit to attendees. Attendees will be awarded
our Certificate of Attendance at the completion of the course. Key Benefits:
What is required from you: While no prior experience or educational
qualification is required, some knowledge of handling and examining gems would
be advantageous You will need a quality 10x jewellers’ lens
(loupe), a pair of stone tweezers and a cleaning cloth. These can be purchased
at the course. Fee: The 2010 fee for our Gem Quality and Values Workshop is £150.00 (includes VAT).
